Delirious as a blowtorch and begotten in the luminosity of love — This is the infamous out-of-orbit literary journal that delivers storytelling fit for a gathering around fire. Home to unpredictable fiction, revealing personal essays, bitter social assessments, subversive hymns, underwater obscenities, uplifting bad news, veiled confessions, hints of the erotic... And maybe even some dicey advice.

Bobby Bub, nothing wrong with a critter in a museum! 😛

It is a lovely city Inese and not that expensive. Of course Shey paid….. You would take wonderful pics Love from Tink, Silv, Fez, the Dook, Ferril, Wilbur and all. x
I have been there, 5 days, just want to go again 🙂
It is that kind of a city. Even just sitting over a coffee on the street is amazing.
Those laws are quite strict… I wonder if romans are rougher than Vikings!?…
Great post …. I love the pics and think I could even see you!. 🙂
Love and best wishes. Happy week ahead, dear She! Aquileana 😉
You could indeed see me Aquileana and it looks like you could also see Wilbur. I am actively considering Romans for a future book in the Malice series. Of course I was hoping to do a proper post on Rome… The dudes have beat me to it. Love and best wishes to you my angel. Rome is a wonderful city. I am sure you would love it. xxx

Awesome, guys! Wilbur is one cool dude. Can I hide in Shey’s suitcase next time?
Of course you can. Just don’t tell her. Love SIlv, Ginger, Vonnie, Vinnie and the gang x
‘I Wilburous’ by Shehanne Moore?
My next book…or maybe Hamstah Dickens will write that one. xx
Love this post Shey. Makes me want to sing “Three hamstahs in a fountain” 😀 ❤
Dearest Ralpha, Wilbur wanted to sing too but there was no water. Love Tink, Tony, Fez, Silv and co
Who’s that dolly bird on the bench that you are going to chat up Wilbur ? Ask her if she has a big sister 😉 ❤
Looks like you all had a fab time 🙂
We can’t speak for Shey but Wilbur had a very nice time. He went everywhere. Love from all the dudes. x
Fabulous, Shey. Rome is definitely on my list of places to visit. Looks like you had a great time, and the hammies actually behaved very well in your absence…
I am so glad to hear that Catherine and that they never put a paw out of place or blogged without me. Rome is a lovely place and very reasonable pricewise to visit. It’s also so easy to get about. Everything was either within walking distance or a short metro ride away. SO yeah get it UP the list.
Hee hee made me laugh! Great post Shey. Glad the hamsters enjoyed their holiday. 😉 Hope you did too. X
Elaine, you mean to tell me a hamstah was in Rome? xxxxx
OmGG too hysterical! Those little Hammies are sly little plotters. So cute Shey! 🙂
I am really shocked by this Debby!!!! I had no idea x
Hilarious! xo
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lol!
I dare not turn my back on these beasts.
Hey… I thought you weren’t taking them with you… that’s what you told me. Did they sneak in with your luggage? 😀
Haha – the hamsters are at it again. 😀
They are. They just don’t do a thing I say…… x
What a lovely way to share your “adventures” in the Eternal City!I am not familiar with the hamstahs characters, but I think I spotted one behind the bench you were sitting on and also saw him climbing on most of the monuments … Loved the Museum of hamstah s … You’re a talented writer with fascinating imagery 🙂
I don’t know about that, you are so kind to me. That is Wilbur the hamster. They all have names. Of course I had no idea he’d bagged a ride. We had a lovely time there. Of course my favourite place is Greece. Rome is a beautiful city and Mr Shey was very keen to see it. x
You don’t know about what ? Please be more specific sweetheart Shey.
Oh,how nice to get to know Wilbur! I’ll gradually be familiar with all these sweet creatures. Thanks for liking Greece so much, but Rome,The Eternal City, and Italy have a very special place in my heart for numerous reasons.I think that Mr Shey was absolutely right, and I figure that you’ll visit Italy again and again. xxx
We were in Rome a few years ago for a few days and loved it. So accessible as capitals go and not too expensive either. We walked everywhere. I think the Mediterranean people are so nice. They are warm and friendly. We took our children to Greece a lot when they were little and stayed in out of the way places, and always found such kindness with the local people. I am glad you love Italy too and that it has a special place in your heart.
Ok… you are so kind in your comments. I never think I am anything special and that is what I meant by not knowing about that! One of the things I love about writing is the people I’ve got to know here, such talented, nice people . You are one!
All the hamster dudes have names. Wilbur never says much, just stands looking decorative that’s because he used to look decorative on a gingerbread house but now because of the antics of other hamster–the mouthy one leaning out the window on the pictures–Bobby Bub– he’s reduced to standing outside that old cottage.
Thank you for your extensive reply Shey Dear! Now,it’s all clear to me,the “I don’t know about that” phrase took its place ….
However,I’ll repeat it again and again, please don’t say anything about that. You’re allowed to say only thank you … You’re special, kind, talented and very friendly,my lovely one! It’s really nice to meet interesting people and to exchange ideas and share some things which are important in your life.As for me,I’m a completely amateur blogger,I keep it just for fun,but eventually,I’ve met some lovely people like you!I’m glad we’re connected on Twitter too.Nevertheless,I don’t have enough spare time to post very often and when I do,I have to squeeze it into my busy schedule.
With Twitter,it’s easier and,it is not so time-consumingIsn’t it ?
How nice to know that you used to visite Greece and that you had discovered those, off the beaten track, places.Oftentimes too many tourists spoil the place.
I must be off now ~ Leaving you with a broad smile ~ Thank you for everything 🙂 xxx
My darling…. I will try but I’m never good at just saying thank you when people are so nice as you to say all these things!!!!! I have to say NOOOO. But I will try . It has been very special for me too to meet so many talented and nice people since I started on this journey! You are certainly one And I must say to you that your blogs are anything but amateurish. Your last one was so clever and the some of the pictures were like paintings. One of my favourite islands was Tilos. So beautiful and such contrast between the two ‘towns’ if they can be called that. The Pandelaimon was so beautiful, especially watching the eagles circle with the dying sun. You are right that too many tourists can spoil a place, especially those who expect it to be like back home and can sometimes be so rude about it too. Lovely to know you. I will look forward to your next blog, whenever that is xxxxxxxxxxxxx
It was so great to view these photos. I am currently working on a new novel which is partially set in Rome so your post put me more in the mood. Love how the hamsters insert themselves into the photos in the manner of the Find Charlie books. 🙂
I was shocked …SHOCKED to see they did this. I hope they won’t do the same when we go to Glencoe in a few weeks. They might fall down a mountain there or something, chew a rope or whatever. A new novel? Great stuff. As for Rome? it is a lovely city. Hop-e you will drop by to promote your book when it’s done Lovely to see you x
Best virtual visit to Rome I’ve ever taken. I am enjoying my travels through your back-catalogue of posts. Thanks Dudes.
Awww. I am so glad you are getting a giggle. I had to remove some of the back catalogue to create space for new posts. BUT there ‘s still quite a lot and it is so good to see this comment. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx for coming by
