Dudes….is this wise? I mean, I never let that delusional hamster in here.
Dudes, can we seriously quit sounding like Fury and Flint and get with the program for the rest of the Spooktacular. It’s Halloween and time is running out.
For when you go to visit her blog…yes..
Look….the bear picture was an honest mistake. Lace sent that weeks ago. I forgot it was there.
After Noelle invited you, Cat Cavendish invited you AND Lace Winter gave you a lovely blog award.
Of course she didn’t.
Lace deeply regrets that photograph which she sent you in good faith.
For your own safety…….I have shed buckets.
But, if you cannot find it in your hamstah hearts to welcome Noelle to the last post in the Spooktacular, well I shall just have to do it myself. AND swipe the blog award. AND have a hamstahs week.
I know. But as they say, it is not raining either. Now then, Noelle Clark is an Aussie author and a wonderful supporter of other authors.
In another few weeks she has a new book coming out, which I know she worried about ever seeing the light of day.
Nice huh?
But you do, cos it’s not. Anyway Noelle isn’t here today to talk about that. What she drew out the cauldron wasn’t a recipe, it wasn’t an interview, it wasn’t a spooky place, or character. NO…What she drew was the following…
‘Whilst my generation of Aussies don’t really celebrate – or understand – Halloween, the younger generation are embracing the Trick or Treat fun with gusto.
These days, supermarkets are decorated in ‘scary’ stuff, pumpkins, and witches, and I have to ensure I buy some lollies to hand out to the local kids in my street. Heck, don’t want them to egg my car!
But if I had to choose the singular most scary movie that I’ve ever watched (through slits in my fingers because my hands covered my face), then I would choose……
Sorry dudes….the Australian movie Wolf Creek. Scared the you-know-what outta me!
There’s now Wolf Creek 2 out, but I haven’t seen it yet. Not sure I will either.’
Check out this trailer and see what you reckon.

How lovely to see Noelle here. Fabulous writer. Now then hammies, I shall have to take you in hand if you start threatening the cat. it’s not my fault you ate your broomsticks. I mean, is nothing sacred? Dear me. I’m not surprised Shehanne locked you up!
Hi Cat. Great to see you too. I’m starting to seriously wonder if our hamster friends have been ‘naughty or nice’ this year. (I hope they read this). Threatening cats, eating broomsticks. tut tut.
Noelle….do you really want me to say what they have been this year? But they did get waylaid by thse two hamsta dudes and in many ways they are simple creatures… DOT DOT DOT
Well not being paranoiac Cat, but it is high time someone locked them up. I am pretty certain when things bump down to earth they will be looking for these broomsticks, then how upset will they be to see it wasn’t just manuscripts they ate…
Thank you Shey and the furry friends for having me visit. Hamsters, if that movie trailer didn’t scare the fur off your backs, well…. Happy Halloween everyone, and Shey, this has truly been a spectacularly spooktacular month of fun posts. Thanks.
Oh…I think they are NOT scared of anything. Even the threat of being put back in the cages has no affect. Glad you enjoyed the posts and thank you for doing this one.
Free the Hamstah !
Up the Hamstah !
Down with eggs on cars !
It was the frightening sight of seeing Paddington Bear that made me go funny ! Sorry Shey. 😀 ❤
Ralpha git yir steel knees on. Paddington is terrifying.
Listen I got photies….I say no more!
Not THE photies ! I can see a blackmail coming on 😉
Ralpha!!!! I say no more except x x x
Giggles! Nice to meet Noelle and also congrats on the blog award! Happy Halloween 🙂
Christy…lovely to see you here. Halloween snugs from me. Do NOT ask re the hammies…I should never have freed them from the cages. x
Lovely to meet you too, Christy.

Due apologies to the poor little hamstahs. How was I to know a couple of bears would be coming around? And the ‘psychotic’ comment was meant to ironic, my little friends. Yeah, that’s it, ironic. I’m going with that.
But Noelle here, well if Wolf Creek isn’t enough to frighten a poor little hamster, I don’t know what is. Gives me shivers. Brrr! Seriously, I think you’d be *welcoming* bears after that. So, I strongly recommend being nice to Noelle, and Shey, and the cat and the dog too, if you don’t want to end up in the belly of the wolf…
You know Paddington has his own movie coming out soon?
Och, never mind them. we won’t tell them about the comment. We’ll let them find out for themselves. Paddington? I didn’t know but I am sure it will be good and the hammies can blog it during their hammie week. Wolf Creek is a scary film isn’t it? I don’t know why they ain’t scared. But then they do protest too much, xx
Wise words, Lace. I happen to know that Santa Claus is already compiling his list of those hamsters who have Nice and not Naughty. And I happen to know that the Nice list is embarrassingly short…
Hmmm. Noelle do not be fooled. They are now sure to go out on the highways outdoing Mother Theresa…Not a good thing
Hamster charity, now how about that?
Lol…. Heaven help those they help…..
lol i am so ready to adopt the hamster dude with the bear prophecy and we all thought he was mad until LACE proved us wrong.
nice to meet you Noelle.
great post Shehanne . 🙂
Fais, you can adopt him. He just sounded delusional and no-one would listen. Tell yah, I thought he was mad too but that wasn’t the punch line. Lace did probve us all wrong. Lovely to see you. Loved your latest poem by the way. x
The curse of Cassandra. He won’t mind if we call him Cassandra from now on, will he?
Well. I think he would like it better than Shortie.
Shortandra?
Ha ha ha. It has an absolute ring to it x
Hi Fais. Nice to meet you too. Adopt one of the hamsters? Well, good luck with that one…
Noelle, Fais has offered, so we say NUTTIN’. Hugs x
PS, He reckons he has a mate who will deal with them….
AND alas, send them back here
Is the mate a bear?
Lol the mate is very hairy and could pass for a bear apparently!
The Godmothah Hamstah will be jealous. This could run
Hi dear Shehanne!.
I love this post because it includes several topics “of interest”… 😛
Such as for instance an award that Lace Winter gave you, an aussie author called Noelle Clark and a horror movie, Wolf Creek…
I hope you slept well after watching it (wait, did you watch it?)
Wishing Noelle the best of luck!
Last but not least, once again the hamsters are the little stars here…
I will pick up one of your the pics above
And, as it is saturday here (thus surely sunday in Australia), I will say: “As for the beer, bring on the beer”!
Sending hugs! ⭐ Aquileana 😀
Awwww my darling, you do better with this blog in terms of pics than me. ! I just -er- blog whatever comes my way, including Wolf Creek at the time a kinda low budget Aussie film about these young folks having a weekend away. Then after they break down the local turns up. Dah de dahh dahh dahhhh dah, I keep seeing that scene with a hamstah somehow OR a Greek god.xxxxxxxxx. Aquileana, you always make my day As for beer..gimme x
Thanks Aquilana. Yes, beer, wine…bring it on. I’m not choosy, I’ll drink any old day of the week. Same as Shehanne. 🙂 Thanks for your good wishes.
MOI????? Anything??? Oh ok
I see what you mean, Shey; they really are mean for Halloween, way behind playing fun for Halloween — they get into it way too much, i.e.:

Aye, I sort offered to them have the blog in the lead up. Each day they were to do a post and to begin with they were nice, kind of scared instead of scary. But that all changed once they got the witches hats on….. x
