Wow…what’s that big yellow thing in the sky? Is it the sun? Nah. Be still my beating heart. It’s a big yellow football flying across our very own rainforest jungle. Yes, why go to the Amazon, when you can have the Amazon right on your doorstep courtesy of the average Scottish summer.
Look, I know some like it cold. I am not one of that some.
All right so today, I am doing two things…oh, be still your beating hearts if you thought this was finally the pirate post… Next time, to tie in with Fury going on virtual tour. Actually I am doing three– I am listening to what appeared to be a clap of thunder. OOPS, and that was another. Could it be the sound of Dundee multis being blown to bits? No, that was yesterday.

No I am firstly giving a shout out for Beachwalk Press. Why am I doing that when I am an Etopia Press author? Do I want my guts displayed for garters? No way, but I am doing it because you start out on this writing game, you start out blogging and that can be hard, so you don’t forget those who friended you and one of the first was Beachwalk’s Aimee Duffy. (Here spelt correctly.) Also Etopia Press are fab.

Right that’s that…painless. The prizes up for grabs are something, so I advise a pop over. So the Summer Sun Award for bloggers who brighten the day in some way, either by their blog content or by what they do for others.

Well Aimee, I don’t want in a fight with Fury over some of these answers…. She is deadly with books and reticules. Not to mention on staircases. I may hold my own in Dundee taxi queues but….. Fury has got three tours coming up. One with Tasty and one with Shades, ooh and I saw your name there too…

Shey, firstly, thank you so much for this award. It’s much appreciated. Secondly, please accept my apology for a late ‘thank you’, but I’ve been fighting monsters and have been scared out of my wits. You see, I took my 6 yo grandaughter to see Monsters University yesterday, thinking I would be comforting her in the scary bits, but alas… twas she who was comforting me. Anyway, we’ve had a soggy couple of days here, and thoughts of the beach and sun, and perving on hot men in skimpy swimmers is, well, warming. Thanks again. Such a fun post, Shey! So it’s that cold in Scotland? Guess you’re pretty far north. Now that I’m “getting older” my body seems to like it a little chilly. Perhaps I should move! Connecticut is hot and humid. Yuk! Enjoyed the post!
